Hey all,
Since I'm done my Computer Science class, and I've learned Java and VB.
I've noticed that Java kinda looks similar to C++, but I wanted to ask if it is similar in anyway or form, because I would like to help out around here, making MTA for GTA:VC,GTA:LC, and GTA:III.
Is Java similar to C++?

Re: Is Java similar to C++?
I believe they have some similarities, and IIRC are both, to some degree, C-based languages...however C++ is quite different overall, so it would take a bit of learning itself to understand. The good news, though, is that you have the basics of programming down, which will make it much easier to learn.
Also, I think you meant GTA III and GTA:VC. GTA:LC is a mod for GTA:VC that is no longer maintained by it's creators, and no longer supported by the VC:MP team, (hence the old LC:MP mod no longer being updated).
